Take notes
Developed after the inaugural Award in 2017, The Design Pioneer Fellows is a unique opportunity to step into the vanguard of design and learn directly from pioneering designers.
Be immersed in the knowledge, tools, skills and mindset of leading designers, and experience how they approach their work; learning tactics and techniques that are often not available to the public, nor codified or captured within institutions.
Be immersed
Modules are designed to facilitate practical learning and encourage the development of intuitive design intelligence. Each module consists of three weeks with distinct learning orientations.
1. Design Thinking
The first week begins with a guided introduction to the module including reading material and inspirational content co-authored by the faculty lead.
2. Design Doing
Participants will take part in an interactive session where they can test their ideas and develop their understanding in real time with their peers and faculty leaders.
3. Design Leading
The final week is dedicated to the completion of course deliverables and guided mentorship to incrementally share progress with the broader network.
Meet your faculty
The course modules are led by a diverse faculty group of renown design practitioners, advocates and stewards of good design practices and principles.
With members spanning the country, your faculty will be engaged in the delivery of dedicated modules and impart knowledge and wisdom that supersede traditional learning outcomes.
This moment in time presents a distinct opportunity to reset, redesign and rebuild. Having mastered their respective crafts and established ecosystems of their own, the DPF faculty have joined the program as inaugural fellows.
Strengthening the lineage of design culture, the DPF faculty represents the balance between guidance and discovery in a world that demands creative solutions.
